Every now and then we can get caught up in life and forget that we all need a little time for ourselves, away from stress and away from people. so today i thought i would give you all some tips on how to disconnect from the world and make time for yourself! and no matter what always try to make time for yourself because it is really important to have some quality time! I hope you’ll like it and with that being said let’s just hop right into it.
Set your priorities straight:
Making time for yourself can get hard if you don’t set your priorities straight, you’ll get caught up in doing this and that even thought they might not be important and then instead of getting some time for yourself you will be forced to do the important things that you left out. You need to sit down and think about what you really need to get done and when the important things are done you’ll be able to have some free time without stressing over your to-do list.
Do not leave today’s work for tomorrow:
Okay people.. let’s get real, how many times have you left the work that should be done to the next day? Now how many times have you regretted that? And how many times have you repeated it even after regretting it? Have I proven my point? Honestly i did that countless of times but I’m trying to not do it anymore as much as I can!! We All know that we’re gonna regret and because of it we will not be able to have any free time so we might as well just do the important things in their freaking right time!!
This time the magic word is not ‘please’ it’s ‘no’ if you’re going to have time for yourself you need to say no to the things that you don’t really want! Whatever that might be.. if it’s a party or a hangout with your friends it’s up to you to decide weather you want to go or not, so if you don’t want then you don’t have to.
Now let me just tell you, overreacting will not help instead it will make whatever you’re doing harder. The key is to stay calm and I know this is easier said than done trust me i do but you need to pull yourself together and take a deep breath. Overreacting will only make you take 2 times longer in doing the task.
